Customized 8-day Group Tour with Golf Playing through Ljubljana, Volcji Potok, Bled, Postojna, Catez, and Ptuj
Day 1: Ljubljana
You will be met and transferred to a selected hotel. The rest of the day at leisure.
Day 2: Ljubljana – Volcji Potok – Ljubljana
Our morning walking tour of Ljubljana is highlighted by visits to the Franciscan Church, Three Bridges, St. Nicholas’ Church and Ljubljana Castle. After a delicious lunch, departure for the Volcji Potok Arboretum, where you can play golf. Return to Ljubljana. (B, L, D)
Day 3: Ljubljana – Bled
After breakfast, departure for the alpine town of Bled. We visit Bled Castle and the lake and have a “pletna” boat ride to the island in the lake. After lunch, visit Bled Country Club to play golf. After the game, check-in at a hotel in Bled. (B, D)
Day 4: Bled – Bovec – Nova Gorica
We depart for Bovec, a town in a valley below the Julian Alps. Rafting on the beautiful emerald Soca River is organised: For guests who don’t want to join rafting, an optional tour is organized, such as hiking or a visit to a museum. Lunch and proceed to Nova Gorica for evening entertainment in the Casino. (B, L, D)
Day 5: Nova Gorica – Postojna – Mokrice – Catez
Our journey continues to Postojna, where we will stop to enjoy the Postojna Caves. Lunch at a local restaurant, with a Karst prosciutto menu. Proceed to Mokrice for golf at Mokrice Castle. (B, L, D)
Day 6: Mokrice – Olimje
Proceed to Olimje. Visit the chocolate factory. Tasting typical local wine. Lunch at a local restaurant, with a menu of mountain deer specialties. The afternoon is reserved for golf and for relaxation at Olimje Spa. (B, L, D)
Day 7: Olimje – Ptuj – Slovenske Konjice
After breakfast, proceed to the town of Ptuj for sighseeing. After lunch at Slovenske Konjice, a game of golf. (B, D)
Day 8: Slovenske Konjice
After breakfast, proceed to Ljubljana airport. (B)
