Day 1 – Saturday: Split Arrival
You will be transferred from Split airport to the port. Embarkation starts at 2:00pm. Get settled in your cabin before attending a Welcome reception followed by dinner this evening. (WR, D)
Day 2 – Sunday: SPLIT – ŠIBENIK (Krka National Park excursion), Sunday (B, L)
Depart from Split early in the morning towards Šibenik with swim stop, weather permitting, in one of pristine bays, time to relax and lunch on board. After lunch disembark in Šibenik and continue by bus to visit Krka National Park. It’s magnificent waterfalls, including the famous waterfall Skradinski Buk, are one of Croatia’s most famous sights. After the sightseeing tour, we come back to Šibenik, a city of exceptional history and rich cultural heritage. Set out on a walking tour of Šibenik historical center and visit one of the most beautiful Renaissance Cathedrals of the Adriatic. Your evening is at leisure in town. (B, L)
Day 3 – Monday: Šibenik, Galešnjak and Zadar (Wine tasting)
Early in the morning, we will leave Šibenik and set sail for Galešnjak, a typical small Dalmatian Island, where you will enjoy a swim stop in one of secluded bays. Enjoy lunch while we cruise into Zadar port. After arrival, join for a walking tour of Zadar historical center and admire the old walls and Port Gate built in 16th century. Visit the Square of the Five Wells, see the Church of St. Donat, the Roman Forum and the largest Cathedral in Dalmatia, St. Anastasia and enjoy wine tasting in one of the local wine bars. If there is a breeze, enjoy at the “Sea Organ”, an architectural sound art, which plays music by way of sea waives move into the tubes. Overnight in Zadar. (B, L, T)
Day 4 – Tuesday: Zadar to Primošten
Morning departure for Primošten, with a stop along the way for a swim and relax, if weather permits, with lunch on board. Primošten is a small, picturesque town situated between Šibenik and Trogir, in the central part of the Adriatic coast and surrounded by seven other islets, a wonderful sight and an exceptional breathtaking place to explore. Overnight in Primošten. (B, L)
Day 5 – Wednesday: Primošten to Stari Grad
In the morning we will continue towards the town of Stari Grad on the island of Hvar. We will sail pass by the most famous beach in Dalmatia – Golden Horn (“Zlatni rat”) near Bol – whose pebbles shifts from side to side as the wind and waves constantly change in shape. Swim stop near Golden Horn (“Zlatni rat”) is possible (weather permitted). We head off to Hvar Island where we’ll visit Stari Grad. Stari Grad is one of the oldest towns in Europe with many friendly konobas and restaurants in the backstreets of the old town. The Stari Grad Plain and the old town center of Stari Grad have been listed as UNESCO World Heritage Sites since 2008. Your evening is free to explore Stari Grad on own. (B, L)
Day 6 – Thursday: Stari Grad, Hvar and Vis
Our morning cruise starts with Hvar Town. Hvar is a charming seaside town and a favourite holiday destination for international celebrities. During a walking tour through the old town and its picturesque little streets, you will see many historical sites, such as St Stephen’s Square and Cathedral, the Arsenal with the theatre built on its first floor, the first municipal theatre in Europe. Above the town is the impressive fortress Fortica offering magnificent views over the bay and Pakleni islands. After lunch disembark in Vis and continue by bus to visit Komiža a charming and lively fishing village located on the southwest side of the island of Vis, where you can walk and enjoy the unique Mediterranean atmosphere and history that is reflected in every stone house, narrow streets, fishing boats that dominate the harbour. After that, we return to the town of Vis, one of the most remote Croatian islands, which remained inaccessible to visitors due to the presence of amilitary base until 1989. When the island finally opened to tourism, Vis retained the impression of wild, untouched beauty that captivated those looking to get off the beaten track. In the evening enjoy Captain’s dinner on board. (B, L, CD)
Day 7 – Friday: Vis to Biševo to Split
We will have an early morning cruise towards small island of Biševo to visit the Blue Cave, a magnificent natural phenomenon. Visiting the cave is permitted depending on weather conditions. We arrive in Split in the afternoon. This UNESCO World Heritage city bases the city center around the stunning Diocletian’s Palace, the Roman emperor Diocletian’s retirement palace from 295–305 AD. Stroll through the palace basement filled with market stalls and experience the historical architecture of this beautiful palace. See the remnants of Split`s Roman heritage, as well as its Renaissance and Gothic structures, Jupiter`s temple, the Peristyle, and many other unique sites. Overnight in Split. (B, L)
Day 8 – Saturday: Split Departure
Disembark after breakfast. You will be transferred to Split Airport. (B)
