Day 1: Vienna – Ljubljana
You will be met at Vienna airport and transferred to a selected hotel in Ljubljana.
Day 2: Ljubljana – Postojna – Ljubljana
Half-day excursion to Postojna. Tour through Postojna Caves by special cave train, accompanied by guide. Lunch at a local restaurant. Afternoon sightseeing tour of Ljubljana begins with a visit to the open-air market, City Hall, Robba’s Fountain, the Three Bridges and the Parliament. (B, L, D)
Day 3: Ljubljana – Bled
This morning we proceed to Bled. Our morning sightseeing tour features the town of Bled with the lake-shore, and includes a visit to Bled Castle, perched on a cliff high above the lake and a ‘pletna’ boat ride to Bled Island and entrance to St. Maria’ Church. Afternoon free. (B, D)
Day 4: Bled – Heiligenblut
Transfer to nearby Bohinj Lake. Brief sightseeing and panoramic drive around the lake. After lunch at local restaurant continue to Austria, Heiligenblut. (B, L, D)
Day 5: Heiligenblut – Grossglockner
Full day visit to the Grossglockner Mountain Road. Visit the Kaiser Franz Josefs Hoehe visitor’s centre, Grossglockner mountain by Gletscherbahn. Lunch and dinner at local restaurant. Overnight in Heiligenblut. (B, L, D)
Day 6: Heiligenblut – Cortina d’Ampezzo
Continue to Italy, towards Cortina D’Ampezzo, the famous Italian winter resort. Lunch at a local restaurant. Upon arrival, sighsteeing of the chic Cortina that attracts guests from all over the world: kings, princes, movie stars, politicians, authors and business leaders. (B, L, D)
Day 7: Cortina d’Ampezzo
Half-day – Lake Misurina sightseeing and its breath-taking views of the Tre Cime di Lavaredo. Afternoon visit to the mountain pass of ‘Passo di Falzerago’, where the views of the Dolomites are truly spectacular, with unlimited photographic opportunities. (B, D)
Day 8: Cortina d’Ampezzo – Passo Sella
Transfer to Passo di Sella, continue to Passo Pordoi and scenic Lake Carezza. (B, D)
Day 9: Passo Sella – St. Christina – Innsbruck
We start our day by driving through Gardena Pass and further on to Gerdena Valley, with a stop at St. Christina Village. Lunch at a local restaurant and drive to Innsbruck. (B, L, D)
Day 10: Innsbruck – Vienna
After breakfast, transfer to Vienna airport. (B)
